Established in 1994, the Oregon Repertory Singers Youth Choirs is a one-of-a-kind music education and performance-based program for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, serving children in the greater Portland and SW Washington area.

Join our caring community of K-12 singers and learn:

  • vocal technique
  • musicianship + music theory
  • exciting new choral repertoire

Registration for Session 2 opens on November 1st!

Session 2: January 10 – March 14, 2022
Classes meet Mondays in person at St. Philip Neri (2408 SE 16th Avenue, Portland).

NOTE: Our goal is to have all classes in person for Session 2. If vaccinations are not available for ages 5 – 11, we will move the K-6th grade classes online (per our board approved policy, all singers must be vaccinated in order to participate in any in-person rehearsals, concerts, or special events) and continue to keep 7th – 12th-grade classes in person. Our hope is that all singers will be reunited in person to make music together again starting in 2022.

The Oregon Repertory Singers Board of Directors is pleased to announce the unanimous appointment of Aubrey Patterson as the organization’s next Artistic Director of the Oregon Repertory Singers Youth Choir Program.

“I am honored and excited to be selected as the new Artistic Director for ORSYC. I look forward to working with passionate singers of all ages and consciously building a cohesive musical community. I have long admired Oregon Repertory Singers as an arts organization that is devoted to choral excellence and arts outreach in the Portland community. We will be innovative in today’s changing landscape, offer new opportunities and ensembles, and look forward to working collaboratively with our parent and school communities to increase and diversify our enrollment while championing choral repertoire composed by historically underrepresented communities. Together, we will build upon the strong foundation of Oregon Repertory Singers Youth Choir for years to come.”
