Video-On-Demand discontinued…

As the 2023-24 season approached, ORS made the difficult decision not to move forward with the video-on-demand (VOD) series. Online concert viewership has passed it’s peak and interest from the majority of our patrons has shifted back to live performance, for which we are very grateful. We are so proud of the VOD and the videos we created. Though the medium was new for us, we found it to be an extremely rewarding process with a beautiful product. Thank you so much to those who supported our VOD concert presentations over the last two seasons. It was a crucial component of our work and one that we recognize was essential in the time. We understand that discontinuing the VOD is disappointing to some of our patrons, but we hope you’ll join us as we adapt to an ever-changing performance landscape.

We will continue recording our concert presentations and release videos of individual pieces throughout the year on our YouTube channel, Facebook Page, and Instagram Profile. However, complete concerts will no longer be released. This season we are releasing performance videos every Monday, #MusicalMondays. It’s a great opportunity to revisit favorite moments from the past two seasons and we believe this format will have broader appeal.

Thank you for your continued support of ORS. We hope this next phase in our online content development will serve our existing patrons as well as invite a new audience to appreciate the good work that ORS is doing.

but concert videos live on!

Consider subscribing (free) to our YouTube channel to receive notifications each time we release a #MusicalMondays video. Every week we will release videos of past performances of individual pieces or movements. A playlist of all #MusicalMondays videos can be viewed below. Our YouTube videos are open to the public and do not require an account or subscription to view.
