Jed Shay, Executive Director
Mr. Shay joined Oregon Repertory Singers in May 2005. He brings to the organization more than 13 years non-profit management and development experience. Mr. Shay was recruited to be the new executive director to lead ORS to new levels of growth, vision and community involvement. Previously, Mr. Shay was the director of development for the YWCA of Greater Portland, the director of development and director of donor relations for the Oregon Symphony Association. He has also been a development officer for CASA for Children, and he started and served as the first executive director for the Karen Gaffney Foundation. Mr. Shay earned his Bachelor of Arts in journalism from the University of Southern California. Prior to beginning his career in non-profit management, Mr. Shay was a video and commercial producer, director and casting director. Mr. Shay has also performed on stage, in films, television and commercials in Portland and Los Angeles.
