Thank you for joining us for Dvorák’s Stabat Mater!
We look forward to singing for you again at our annual Glory of Christmas concert in December.

We begin our season with two performances of one of the great monuments of choral music: Antonin Dvorák’s haunting oratorio Stabat Mater for chorus and full orchestra is one of the most beautiful pieces ever to have come out of Eastern Europe. ORS continues its commitment to performing classics rarely heard in Portland in collaboration with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. This is the piece that launched the career of one of the greatest composers of all time, being performed in Portland for the first time in over 40 years. Catch it while you can!.
